Dance Artist – Choreographer – Arts Curator

Dieu-Thao (pronounced like "u–thao") is a dance artist currently based in Vietnam. She graduated university in the United States with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, complemented by a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations and Advertising, and a minor in Psychology.

Her artistic journey was marked by opportunities to perform in the works of: Rennie Harris Puremovement company, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane company, Michael Sakamoto, Brendan Fernandes, Melissa Templeton, Jenna Reigel, among others. She was recently invited as a guest artist and performer at the University of Colorado Boulder, United States (2024).

As a choreographer, her solo piece was presented on the main stage of the Lied Center for Performing Arts in 2021. She was invited as a choreographer for the Making Space Dance Festival 2022 and for artist Dorian Wood's "Canto de Todes" Arts Installation at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in 2023. In 2024, a choreography collaboration between her and Kim La Différence was presented at Men Heal Play – interactive installation and dance shows by John Huy Tran and UDG Vietnam.
